Utah Winter Wedding Styled Shoot
One of my favorite things to design are wedding invitations. I get asked to make a lot for styled shoots, and I've come up with some really cool designs. But when Kylee Olivia Photography asked me to make some for an amazing styled shoot she was putting on, of course I had to say yes. And this stationery suite has ended up being one of my absolute favorite that I've designed to date. And I've designed a LOT of stationery suites for different styled shoots.
With shades of ice blue, cream, and green, this styled shoot was a winter wedding to die for. The flowers, designed by Dahlia Events and Floral Design, had gorgeous white roses with subtle pops of blue, among a gorgeous spray of greenery. The cake by Graceful Baker was one of the prettiest cakes I've ever seen! A three tiered cake, it had a blue marbled layer, and two white layers, one with delicate floral elements, topped by real roses.
The invitation suite, like I said, was my absolute favorite to create! Complete with invitation, RSVP card, details card, and menu, this suite had colors of a darker ice blue and cream accents. The watercolor pine tree scene on the invitation matched the mountain scenery of the shoot so well. I loved the watercolor feel of this suite.
The model, Alexis, was absolutely gorgeous. Blonde hair and piercing blue eyes made her just pop out from the snow. The dress she was wearing was by Janay Marie, a local wedding dress designer in Utah. Her dresses are some of my absolute favorite! Alexis's hair was done by the super talented Abbey from Studio 170 Salon and Spa. I've gone there for multiple services, and they're definitely my favorite spa/salon in Logan! The makeup was done by Tia Montgomery of Celise Artistry. It was seriously such a dream! It was a very natural look, but the eye makeup was just gorgeous. It definitely made Alexis's blue eyes pop like crazy!
Kylee definitely knows how to put on an amazingly beautiful shoot! All of the vendors involved did such a wonderful job, and I hope that I can work with them all in the future!
